Colin Daniel Marshall, 26, of Port Clinton and formerly of Marysville, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 19, 2018 as a result of an auto accident.

Colin will be remembered as the big, lovable goofball whose smile would light up a room. He had the biggest heart, was loved by many and touched so many lives in his short time with us. He loved living by the lake, enjoyed riding his jet ski, boating and hanging out with his friends in Port Clinton and the islands.

He loved playing his heavy metal music loud while driving his Ford truck. He was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers and Ohio State Buckeyes.

The way he lit up a room with his smile, contagious laugh and sense of humor will be missed by so many that loved him.

Born April 13, 1991 in Marysville, he was a 2009 graduate of Marysville High School and went on to graduate from the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology. He worked for Lafarge Marblehead Quarry.

Colin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mollie Marshall and his grandfathers, Gene Cardinal and Royall Smithey.

Surviving are his parents, Dan (Chianti) Marshall and Mary (Matt) Smithey; brothers and sisters, Alec Marshall, Lexi Chambers, Dakota Romine and Taylor and Collin Smithey; grandparents, Bill and Sylvia Marshall, Mary Jane Cardinal, Marv and Teri Romine and Felicia Smithey and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Friends may call Friday, January 26, 2018 from 1-3 and 5-8 at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. Jack Knox will officiate funeral services at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Millcreek Church of Christ. Burial will be held at the Mt. Herman Cemetery at a later date.
