James M. Green II, 53, of Richwood, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 19, 2017 at his residence.

Born October 25, 1963 in Greenfield, he was the son of the late James Green and Linda (Simmons) Mason.

A 1982 graduate of Tolles Technical Center, Jim was of the Baptist faith. He formerly worked as an RV Technician with RCD Sales and also at FedEx.

On May 18, 2013 in Richwood, he married Lelethea (Guisinger) and she survives in Richwood. Also surviving is his daughter, Melanie Jade Green of London; a grandson, Kaleb Baker; a stepson, Brian Baker; sisters, Michelle (Wes) Green-Schermerhorn of Cadiz, KY, Christen Mason of Mt. Sterling and Masonya Roberts of Washington Courthouse; a brother, K.P. (Beth) Mason of Chillicothe; his close friend whom he considered a brother, Mike Carter of London and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A generous man, Jim liked to help people whenever he could, never met a stranger and was well liked by anyone who met him. Devoted to his family, he enjoyed going to the movies with his daughter and Kaleb, teaching Kaleb how to “fix” things, and most of all, taking walks with Lelethea on his arm. Jim also enjoyed camping, working on campers and in recent years, traveling.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. Pastor Jerry Arnold will officiate.
