Obituary

Jason Allen Winter, 29, of Raymond, passed away unexpectedly early Tuesday, March 26, 2019 from an automobile accident.

Jason was born June 20, 1989 in Galena, OH. and graduated in the class of 2007 from Big Walnut High School. An avid VW and Jeep enthusiast, Jason was a wonderful problem solver, making him willing and able to fix anything. He enjoyed camping and being outdoors. His greatest joy of all, came from living life to the fullest and sharing that philosphy with his son.

Jason is survived by his wife, Kate (Reiner) Winter; a son, Kurt Allen Winter; his mother and stepfather, Linda (James) Slifko; father and stepmother, Mark (Terri) Winter; a brother, Garret Winter; grandparents, Doyle and Marilyn Painter, Ron and Gloria Winter; step-grandfather, James Slifko; two stepbrothers and two stepsisters; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his beloved dogs, Loc and Kaine.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1-5 P.M. on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to Kate and Kurt in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.wilsonfuneralhomesinc.com
