Mark P. Elling, 50, of Marysville, died unexpectedly of a venous stroke on Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Ohio State University/Wexner Medical Center.
A 1985 graduate of Continental High School, he earned his associates degree in business administration as a 1987 graduate of the University of Northwestern Ohio. Mark worked as a production assistant at Honda Manufacturing in Marysville.
An avid animal lover, especially horses and dogs, Mark enjoyed spending time outdoors Hiking, Fishing, camping, kayaking, bicycling, target shooting and riding motorcycles but he truly cherished restoring vintage Honda motorcycles.
Born December 27, 1966 in Napoleon, he was the son of Karen Marie (Bostelman) Johnston. She passed away shortly after Mark on July 12, 2017 in Florida. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew and his grandparents, Paul and Luella Bostelman.
Surviving is his daughter, Madelyn Elling of Brookville; former wife, Kim Elling of Brookville; stepfather, Mike Johnston of Summerland, FL; brother Chad Elling and nephew, Matthew Jaxson Elling both of Louisville, KY.
A Celebration of life Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. Reverend Therese Lehman will officiate.
