Alnet Mayer Moder Alnet Mayer Moder, age 92, of Marysville died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at The Gables at Green Pastures. She was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was a 1938 graduate of Marysville High School. She and her husband moved to Orlando, Florida, in 1958, and after 27 years, they returned to the Marysville area in 1985. Alnet was employed with Dade Federal Savings in Orlando for 27 years. She was born August 1, 1920. She was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Lorna & Carl Beightler, and a brother and sister-in-law, Harold (Roberta) Mayer. She married Clarence C. Moder on August 8, 1946, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Columbus, and he preceded her in death on December 25, 2003. Survivors include her nieces and nephews: Barbara (Andrew) Detrick, Naples, FL; Revena (Kenneth) Metzler, Westerville; Sandra Schofield, Ft. Myers, FL; William P. (Mary Ellen) Moder, New Holland; and Roy Andrews, Marysville; and many great-nieces and great-nephews, including Cindy (Harold) Dillon, Marysville. Services will be held Monday, June 24, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Mannasmith Funeral Home, Marysville, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Reverend Barry Scott will officiate and burial will take place at Oakdale Cemetery.
