Anna Fouty

Anna Maria Fouty, of Marysville, OH quietly passed away on Wednesday January 10, 2018 with family by her side. She was 90 years old. Anna Maria is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert M Fouty, as well as her sister, Helena Volkert; two daughters, Karin Barrett (William), Barbara Aberegg (James), four grandchildren Robert Adams (Alicia), Christina Shoffner (Scott), Tina Powell (VonZell), Tammy Concitis (Gus), 9 great grandchildren and her nephew and great nieces in Germany, Wolfgang Kuhn, Jessica Kuhn, and Jennifer Kuhn. Also by a large extended family in Jackson County, OH. Anna Maria and Robert both retired from Franklin County Veteran Memorial and spent many years traveling and spending winters in Florida in their RV. Most important to Anna Maria was her family and she was very protective of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, sister, mother and grandmother and known by many names: Anna Maria, Anna, Maria, Mom, Grandma, Oma, and GiGi. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel 621 W Fifth St. Marysville. Interment will take place at a later date in the Union Cemetery in Columbus. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at the Barrett Residence. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Memorial Mobile Meals in care of the funeral home.
