Barbara Daniels

Barbara E. Daniels, 59, of Marysville, died Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Kobacker House in Columbus with her loving family by her side. Born December 26, 1956 in Marysville, she is the daughter of James R. and Alma (Sparks) Daniels, Jr. and her mother survives in Marysville. In addition to being preceded in death by her father, she was also preceded in death by her aunts, Vivian, Barbara and Lillian and her uncles, Talmage, Joseph, Clarence, Tom, Richard and Randal. A 1975 graduate of Marysville High School, she worked for Honda of America as a Hazardous Materials supervisor in the shipping and receiving department for 29 years and formerly attended the Cornerstone Church of Christ in Christian Union in Plain City. Barb enjoyed sewing, taking many of her blankets to the craft shows, she also enjoyed to travel and was a consummate shopper, with an uncanny knack for always finding a deal. In her younger years, she was an avid softball and volleyball player. Surviving along with her mother, is her brother, Jeff (Cheryl) Daniels of Marysville; her nieces and nephews, Lisa and Matthew Daniels, Amber (Thomas) Powers and Madison, Tanner, Leah and Turner Powers; aunts and uncles, Opal Thompson of Marysville, Bob (Virginia) Sparks of Medway, Anne (Melvin) Daniel of Marysville, Mary (Tim) Kibbey of Raymond and Bobb Daniels of Marysville. Funeral services for Barb will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Mannasmith Funeral Home. Reverend Paul Mills and Reverend Thomas Powers will officiate and burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Monday, March 14, 2016 at the funeral home.
