Billie Louise Rausch, 88, of Powell, a loving and devoted grandmother, passed away peacefully at her residence on February 4, 2026, surrounded by her cherished family. Born on February 27, 1937, in Delaware, Billie was known for her kind and welcoming nature, making others feel at ease and effortlessly forming friendships wherever she went.
For 30 dedicated years, Billie worked at Ranco in Plain City, where her strong work ethic and vibrant personality truly shined. She embraced a life full of joy and interest, enjoying camping and square dancing with her beloved husband, Arthur Michael Rausch, whom she married July 8, 1954 in Liberty, IN. Billie also found delight in recent years playing bingo at the Delaware Fraternal Order of Eagles, relishing the camaraderie and connections formed there. Her accomplishments were significant—she spent many years working at the Arts and Crafts building at the Delaware County Fair, leaving an indelible mark on her community.
Billie is survived by her sons, Michael (Cheryl) Rausch of Huntsville, William (Cathy) Rausch of Delaware and A. Malcolm (Christine) Rausch of Powell; her grandchildren, Holly Levings, Michelle (Todd) Ludwig, Amanda (Josh) Fishbaugh, Kaleigh (Hayden) Mullenax, Sarah Rausch, and A.J. Rausch. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Hunter, Mackenzie and Aiden Levings, Makayla, Kaitlin, and Madison Ludwig, and Kaleb and Aubree Fishbaugh.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Arthur on January 25, 1996; her parents, Henry and Mary (Ransom) Boring; and her sisters, Blanche Fischer and Helen Smith.
Friends may call from 10:00-11:30 AM Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel 621 W. 5th St. Marysville. A graveside service will follow at Oakdale Cemetery with Pastor Bryan Meadows officiating. Memorial Contributions can be made to Tranquility Hospice 1949 St. Rt. 37 W Delaware, OH 43015.
