Brenda Carol Cagle Brenda Carol Cagle, age 67, of Marysville, and a lifetime resident of Sullivan, Indiana, died Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Heartland of Marysville Nursing Home with her niece at her side following an extended illness. Brenda possessed a fun-loving spirit and loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She moved to Marysville in 2008 to be near her niece and caregivers, Barbara Lemley and The Lemley Family, and resided at Heartland of Marysville for the past 4 years where she enjoyed many friendships. Brenda was a longtime member of the Shelburn Church of Christ and was a member of the Old Union Church of Christ in Marysville. She loved playing bingo and going to yard sales and will be remembered for always enjoying life. She was born April 9, 1946, in Trenton, Tennessee, to the late Delbert Leon and Evelyn Marie Walls Cagle. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Delbert Leon Cagle, Jr., Dennis Ray Cagle, and Don Harold Cagle; and by a nephew, Trent Higdon. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Martha Joann Cagle (Roger) Rutter, Scottsburg, IN; 6 nieces and nephews, Natalie (Andre) Lico, Austin, TX; Theresa (Will) Jones, Indianapolis; Barbara (Michael) Lemley, Marysville; Nancy (Jerry) Voyles, Scottsburg, IN; Delbert (Windy) Cagle III, Henryville, IN; and David (Dawn) Cagle, Scottsburg, IN; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and two great-great-nephews. Delbert Cagle III will conduct a graveside service on Saturday, February 1, 2014, at 12:00 p.m. at Center Ridge Cemetery, Sullivan, Indiana. The family will gather at Banks and Brust Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland of Marysville Activity Fund.
