Brenda S. Snyder, 59, of Bellefontaine, passed away peacefully at her residence on August 26, 2026. She was born on August 13, 1967, in Kenton, to Harold L. and Shirley J. (Hamilton) Grose.
Brenda graduated from Benjamin Logan High School and later attended DeVry University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. She owned and operated All About Stitches, a role that reflected both her creativity and dedication. Sewing, quilting, crocheting, and crafting were among the interests that brought her great joy and were a natural expression of the talents she shared with others. She was also a member of Cornerstone Church at Huntsville and the West Liberty Business Association.
Family was at the heart of Brenda’s life. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Allen Snyder; her children, Tara Snyder, Megan Albert and her husband Michael, Chase Snyder and his wife Erin, and Jenna Snyder; and her cherished grandchildren, Crosley and Cason Lacher, Cruz Parker, and Olivia, Serenity, and James Albert. She is also survived by her sister, Judy Culp and her husband Ed; her brother, Mike Grose and his wife Todda; her sister, Patti Denlinger and her husband Jim; her brothers-in-law, Jonathan Snyder and Daniel Snyder; and her sisters-in-law, Cynthia Deardurff and Linda McLaughlin; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Grose, and her mother, Shirley Grose.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Church at Huntsville, 6611 Fruit St, Huntsville, Ohio 43324. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Church at Huntsville with Pastor Bryan Meadows officiating. A luncheon provided by the ladies of Cornerstone Church will follow the funeral services. Those wishing to attend the graveside service may gather at York Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, following the luncheon. Memorial contributions can be made to the school lunch programs at Bellefontaine City Schools or the Benjamin Logan Schools, envelopes will be available at the church.
