Carolyn A. Boysel

Carolyn A. Boysel, 88, of London passed away peacefully on Friday, August 28, 2026, at the Bluebird of London.

A 1955 graduate of Minford High School, she served as the food manager at ORW for over 20 years. She was a former member of the York United Methodist Church in York Center. In later years, she transferred her membership to the Lafayette United Methodist Church in London. Carolyn was a volunteer at the Madison County Senior Center and Loving Care Home Health and Hospice. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, volunteering, and attending her grandchildren’s activities.

Born January 25, 1938, in Ironton, she was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Akers, and her husbands, Donald Dawning and Jessie Boysel.

She is survived by her son, Steven Pinson of Athens, TN; and her grandchildren, Zackary and Allison Pinson.

At the request of the deceased, no calling hours were observed, and graveside services took place on September 3, 2026, at York Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home 621 W. 5th St. Marysville assisted the family. Condolences may be expressed at www.wilsonfuneralhomesinc.com
