Charles Philip "Phil" Baldwin Charles Philip "Phil" Baldwin, age 69, of Dublin died Saturday, January 25, 2014, at Riverside Methodist Hospital with his family at his side. A former member of the Marysville Moose Lodge #1651, Phil was a fan of open-wheel racing and enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy. He always stayed busy and took pride in his organization skills. Affectionately known as "Papa", Phil will be remembered as a wonderful cook with an appreciation for great food and an even greater appreciation for the love and togetherness his family shared. He dearly loved his wife, and his family is comforted knowing their parents are reunited in Heaven. He was born July 21, 1944, in Bellefontaine to the late Gerald and Mary Josephine Hoover Baldwin. He married Dixie E. Cottrill on August 5, 1962, at the Pharisburg United Methodist Church, and she preceded him in death on January 4, 2014. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Baldwin.
