He was also an enthusiastic outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. These hobbies enriched his life and created countless cherished memories with family and friends, especially with his beloved wife, Myra, with whom he loved spending time.
Daniel’s proudest accomplishments included being a dedicated member of the REACT team in West Virginia. His spiritual journey included being formerly active in the Kenton Church of Christ and the Bellefontaine Church of Christ, where he found fellowship and purpose.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 58 years, Myra (Nunn) Johnson, whom he married December 22, 1967 in WV; his children, Robert (Stacey) Johnson, Lisa Nawman, and Daniel (Summer) Johnson, Jr.; as well as his grandchildren, Chris (Katie) Johnson, Chad Johnson, Holly (Jon) Hull, Sheri (Rick) Keeler, Stephen (Krystal) Abbott, Whitney Abbott, Jeremy (Tori) Nawman, Faith Nawman, Caitie (Noah) Zierden, and Lindzy (Matt) Scroggs; 18 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Donna Miller and Ann Hawkins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
