David A. Turner David A. Turner, age 57, of Marion died Thursday, July 11, 2013, with his family at his side at the Kobacker House in Columbus following a short battle with cancer. He was employed for over 30 years with Englefield Oil where he worked as an internal auditor. He graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1973. David was born July 20, 1955, in Marion. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Robert and Ernestine Cole, and a brother, Robin Turner. Survivors include his wife of nearly 25 years, Sally Turner, to whom he was married on January 12, 1989, in Marion, his children, Matthew (Charity) Loeffler, Farrah (Dan) Arndt, and Allison (Jamie) Hodgins, 2 step-children, Jason (Christy) Weikel, and Jennifer (Chris) Saunders, 8 grandchildren, and his siblings, Becky Jordan, Beth (Gary) Cowles, Kathy May, Bill (Carla) Turner, and Theresa Turner. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, July 14, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the Fairpark Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 940 Bermuda Dr., Marion, OH 43302. No calling hours will be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Dr., Columbus, OH 43214. Mannasmith Funeral Home, Marysville, is serving the family.
