Diane Johnson

Diane Johnson, 83, of Marysville, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026, at OSU Inpatient in Columbus, with her family by her side. She was born on December 31, 1942, in Richwood.

A graduate of Richwood High School, Diane built a life marked by dedication, quiet joys, and deep family ties. She worked at Scott’s in Marysville for many years. Outside of work, she found happiness in crafting, especially sewing and crocheting, and she also enjoyed collecting antiques. She liked watching Jeopardy, and she treasured the companionship of her fur-baby, Fritz.

Diane will be remembered with love by her family. She is survived by her daughter, Michele (Russell) Moore; her grandchildren, Colin Moore, Aubrey (Garrett Talmage) Moore, and her great-grandchildren, Juniper, Quinn, and Remy. The love shared across these generations was a meaningful part of Diane’s life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank McKinley and Pauline McKinley; and her brothers, Gary (Mary) McKinley and Rex (Phyllis) McKinley.

Friends may call from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at the Wilson Funeral Home 621 W. 5th St. Marysville. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Oakdale Cemetery, 1290 W 5th St. Marysville. In Lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Central Ohio.
