Donald William Caughey

Donald William Caughey, 72, of Marysville and formerly of his beloved Tuscon, AZ. passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Dublin Methodist Hospital.

Born May 25, 1952 in Dayton, he was the son of the late William and Margaret (Albert) Caughey. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Daniel Pierce.

Don, was a graduate of Belmont High School in Dayton OH and Wright State University. He enjoyed playing golf, loved spending time with his family and the Southwest.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Margie (Miketo) Caughey; daughters, Jennifer (Kevin) Rigano of Marysville and Melissa Caughey of Panama; a sister, Ruthanne Pierce; grandchildren, Jonah and Brynn Hansen, Lance Rigano, and Ciera Sandelin; seven brothers and sisters-in-law and 15 nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held on March 22, 2025 from 2:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M. in the Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel 621 W. 5th Street, Marysville, OH.

Memorial Contributions in Don’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital or the Alzheimer’s Association.
