Dora Martin

Dora Yoshiko Martin (Morimoto) died on January 19, 2021 at 96 years old. As a sibling, Dora was a constant, steadying presence. She kept the house sparkling clean, even if they didn’t always appreciate being locked out of the house while the floor was drying. After meeting her late husband Robert, she became the mother to four sons. She dedicated her life to raising them, instilling in them the discipline to accomplish their goals. Her grandchildren remember her fondly as a no-nonsense pillar of strength, despite her 4’10” frame. The lessons that she imparted about strength, courage, love, and family have shaped the generations that she left behind. Her family, and every life she touched will be darker for this loss, but the wisdom and love she left behind will last forever.
