Dorothy Catherine "Dottie" Gwilliams Dorothy Catherine "Dottie" Gwilliams, age 73, of Haines City, Florida, formerly of Bellefontaine, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 9, 2014, surrounded by her family and friends at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center in Haines City. Retired from Honda of America, East Liberty, Dottie attended the New Horizon United Methodist Church in Haines City and formerly attended the Huntsville United Methodist Church. She was very active with the people at West View Ridge Park where she taught Swedish weaving and was the "Sunshine Lady" for 7 years. She enjoyed shopping, camping, and most of all spending time with people, especially her family. She will be remembered by her beautiful red hair and smile. She was born July 21, 1940, in Sac County, Iowa to the late Martin and Emelia Haukap Reichert. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Gwilliams, and a brother-in-law, Bruce Gwilliams. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, William "Bill" Gwilliams, to whom she was married on October 1, 1960, in Marysville; her children, Kent (Gay Zauler) Gwilliams, Indianapolis, IN; Denise (Richard) Hoover, Lockbourne; and Theresa (Bob) Rabenstein, West Liberty; 3 grandchildren, Deanna (Leo Bautista) Gwilliams, Bill Rabenstein, and Jessica Rabenstein; a great-grandson, Zachary Bautista; 2 sisters, Lucille (Ralph) Ramsey, Marysville; and June (Clydis) Martin, Lakeview; 2 brothers, Edgar (Bonnie) Reichert, Delaware; and Lewis (Nadine) Reichert, McKinney, TX; her mother-in-law, Beulah Gwilliams, Marysville; several brothers-and sisters-in-law, Waldo (Carol) Gwilliams, Roger (Sandi) Gwilliams, David (Karen) Gwilliams, Wanda Gwilliams, Joyce Peck and Nyla (Richard) Bowersmith, all of Marysville; Judy (Doug) Barnes, Garland, TX; and Nancy Roosa, Palm Harbor, FL; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Mannasmith Funeral Home, Marysville. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11am at the Raymond Church of Christ in Christian Union, 23062 Bear Swamp Rd., Raymond. Reverend Warren Goble will officiate and burial will take place at Raymond Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Foundation Fighting Blindness, PO Box 17279, Baltimore, MD 21297-0495.
