Florence E. Russell Florence E. Russell, age 85, of Raymond died Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She worked as a bookkeeper at Elephant Lumber in Delaware for 22 years and worked part-time throughout the state for many years with the State Unemployment office. Florence was a faithful and active member of Millcreek Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school and assisted with Vacation Bible School. A 1945 graduate of Perrysburg High School, she enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She was born April 30, 1927, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Bill and Dorothy Bochbrader King. She was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim and Lois Russell, Bob Russell, and Dick and Gladis Russell. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Donald G. Russell, to whom she was married on August 25, 1946, in Perrysburg; her daughter, Barbara Jean (Gary) Howe, Anaheim, CA; her son, Donald E. Russell, Raymond; 2 grandchildren, Brian (Tiffany) Howe, North Las Vegas, NV; and Allison Howe, New York, NY; a great-grandson, Ethan, her sister, Virginia (Harold) Schriber, Toledo; her brother, Bill (Kathy) King, Perrysburg; many nieces and nephews; and her church family. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Mannasmith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 11, at 11:00 a.m. at the Millcreek Church of Christ. Jack Knox will officiate and burial will take place at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Millcreek Church of Christ to assist with their Vacation Bible School ministry.
