Garret Winter

Garret Alben Winter, 27 of Bellefontaine, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Oct 18th 2020.
Born April 15, 1993 in Galena OH, he was a 2011 Graduate of Benjamin Logan High School and Ohio High Point Career Center. He worked as a mechanic at Steve Austin's Auto Group.
Garret's innate ability to tear apart machinery and rebuild it was unparalleled. He loved working on cars, especially 4x4's. He had a passion for four wheeling and being outdoors. Garret had a quick sense of humor which made people laugh. He was a genuine kind spirit and could strike a conversation with anyone.
Surviving is his Mother and Stepfather, Linda (James) Slifko; Father and Stepmother Mark (Terri) Winter; Grandparents, Doyle and Marilyn Painter and Ron and Gloria Winter; Step-Grandfather, James Slifko; Sister in Law, Kate Winter, Nephew, Kurt Allen Winter who brought him great joy to be his Uncle; step siblings and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
Preceded in Death by his brother, Jason Allen Winter.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 1:00-5:00 P.M. Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel, 621 W Fifth St Marysville, OH. In Lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Garret Winter Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
