Harvey E. Dunlap Harvey E. Dunlap, age 89, of Marysville died Thursday, March 8, 2012, at his home with his loving family at his side following an extended illness. A jack of all trades, Harvey retired from Honda of America in Temecula, California, and also worked at Ohio Wesleyan University and with his father and brother at the Delaware Creamery. A veteran of the US Army and World War II, Harvey was a graduate of Belle Point High School and formerly attended the Resurrection Mount Foursquare Gospel Church. He loved John Wayne and watching Westerns but more than anything treasured time spent with his family. He was born August 14, 1922, in Delaware to the late Ed and Laura Mae McPeak Dunlap. He married Hazel Sumner on January 10, 1981, in Las Vegas, NV, and she preceded him in death on September 15, 2009. He was also preceded in death by 2 daughters, Pauline Foreman and Sonja Sims, a son, Paul Ritchie, a son-in-law, Rocky Wurtsbaugh, 2 sisters, Bessie Lamont and Dorothy Bice, and a brother, Arthur Dunlap. Survivors include his 14 children, Beverly (Earl) Snyder, Las Vegas NV; Bea (Larry) Finks, Delaware; Harvey E. (Peggy) Dunlap, Jr., Washington; Deb Caldwell, Delaware; Laura Dunlap, Homestead, FL; Cathy (Bobby) Green, Marysville; Darrell (Clastine) Ritchie, Lyons, OR; Johnny (Wendy) Ritchie, Fontana, CA; Brenda Wurtsbaugh, Richwood; Danny Ritchie, Marysville; Lois (Arthur) Magana, Marysville; David Ritchie and his fiancé©, Holly Burris, Kenton; Alan Ritchie, Marysville; and Cookie (Mike) White, Mt. Victory; 65 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Mannasmith Funeral Home where the funeral service will take place on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Robert Jeffers will officiate and burial with military honors conducted by the Union County Honor Guard will take place at York Cemetery, York Center.
