Hazel June Warner, 92, formerly of Plain City and fondly known as June, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Memorial Hospital of Union County. Born on June 18, 1933, in Jerome Township, she lived a life marked by dedication, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to her profession and family.

June was a proud graduate of New California High School and furthered her education by earning a bachelor's degree in medical technology from The Ohio State University. Her career reflected her passion for healthcare, as she worked as a medical technologist first with Ben Franklin/TB Hospital in Delaware, and later with Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. Throughout her professional journey, she demonstrated unwavering dedication to the well-being of her patients and colleagues alike.

A woman who treasured knowledge and quiet moments, June had a deep love for reading, which provided her with both solace and joy. Her curiosity and intellect were qualities admired by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Mizer of Gahanna; grandchildren, Jessica (Steve) Phillips, Valerie Mizer, Holly (Mark) Lowe, and Andrea (Kurt) Garringer; great-grandchildren, McKenna, Leo, Ellie, Calvin, Kaden, Quinn, Ava, Kali, K.J., and Kaitlyn; a brother, Charles (Gloria) Calle of Plain City; her sister-in-law, Phyllis Calle of Plain City, and numerous nieces and nephews.

June was preceded in death by her son, Robert Warner; her parents, Charles Lloyd and Hazel Maude (Pettit) Calle; and her brother, Joe Calle.

In keeping with June's wishes, no calling hours or services will be held at this time. A service to celebrate her life is being planned and will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the Plain City Library, in memory of June. Arrangements are in care of the Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel 621 W. 5th St. Marysville.
