In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Baxley. On October 4, 1969 at the Church of Christ in East Liberty, he married Ardella (Tignor) and she survives in East Liberty. Also surviving are his children, Nelson (Debbie) Baxley of East Liberty, Tracey (Shelly) Baxley of West Mansfield and Stacy (Scott) Faller of Fairborn; grandchildren, Kelly, Casey, Kelby, Jenna and Justin; great grandchildren, Hayden, Evelyn and Kinsley and a sister, Katherine Wilgus of Findlay. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 1, 2016 at the East Liberty Cemetery with Dr. Jason Robson officiating. In keeping with Herb's wishes, no calling hours will be observed.
