John E. Bunsold John E. Bunsold, age 66, of Marysville died Saturday, November 12, 2011, at the OSU Richard Ross Heart Hospital, Columbus, with his family at his side. He was a co-owner with his brother of Bunsold Plumbing & Heating and proudly worked in the family business from 1971-2007. A lifetime member of St. John's Lutheran Church, John was a 1963 graduate of Fairbanks High School and a 1967 graduate of Capital University, and upon graduation he taught four years at Mechanicsburg High School. He held memberships in BPOE #1130, Eagle's Aerie #3506, and Marysville Moose Lodge #1650 and appreciated the charitable nature of the groups and the camaraderie they offered. John enjoyed golfing, woodworking, and travelling, so long as he could drive and not fly, and was a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals. In recent years he became an avid vegetable gardener and capable grill master, but nothing pleased him more than being a wise and proud father able to lend his own son a hand now and again with his excavating business. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. He was born January 24, 1945, in Marysville to Edgar and Lucile Gugel Bunsold. He was preceded in death by his father, and his mother survives in Marysville. He was also preceded in death by his parents-in-law, Paul and Helen Swepston Tilton. Along with his mother, survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Sandy Tilton Bunsold, to whom he was married on August 9, 1969, in the Chapel at Capital University in Bexley; his son, Cory Bunsold and his special friend, Nichole Peterman, Marysville; a grandson, Corbin, his brother, William (Marlise) Bunsold, Marysville; nieces and nephews, Benjamin Bunsold, Marysville; Susan (David) Wilson and their son, Teddy, each of Marysville; and Erin (Andrew) Gilleon, and their daughter, Lydia, each of Powell; and many friends.
