John Charles “Jack” Dally, 79, of West Mansfield, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Hospice of Central Ohio within The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

A 1959 graduate of Bokescreek Local High School in West Mansfield, he also attended The Ohio State University. Jack served in the Air National Guard from 1963-1969 and a dispatcher for the Ohio State Highway Patrol before embarking on his nearly 51-year career as an agent for Nationwide Insurance, where he was honored with the Champion’s Club. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State football and basketball teams.  In his later years, he enjoyed being a grandfather and spending time on his beloved farm.

Born July 12, 1941, in Bellefontaine, he was the son of the late John Donald and Mona (Bailey) Dally.

On July 8, 1995, in Columbus, he married Monika (Bidner) Dally and she survives in West Mansfield.
