Joseph R. Wolfe

Joseph R. Wolfe, 30, of Marysville, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at his residence. He was born on June 18, 1996, in Mt. Vernon, Ohio.

A graduate of Marysville High School, Joseph will be remembered as a man with a big heart who was always willing to help others. He enjoyed baseball, football, fishing, and going to church. His faith and church family were an important part of his life, and he especially loved fellowshipping after church and taking his children to church with him.

Joseph found great joy in time spent with his family and friends. He loved taking his children for rides on the 4-wheeler, and he treasured being with his aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also enjoyed helping with Special Olympics and spending time with his CRSI buddies. Among the many memories that will be cherished is his habit of sneaking Grandpa’s motorcycle out for a ride once in a while, a detail that speaks to his spirited nature and love of life.

He is survived by his parents, Raynor and Sherry (Valentine) Wolfe; by his daughter, Adrianna Wolfe, and his son, Grayson Wolfe; by his sisters, Victoria Wolfe and Alexis Bollack; and by his brothers, James Scanlan and Xander Bollack. He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and many others who will hold his memory close.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Marysville Free Will Baptist Church, 280 N. Cherry St., Marysville, Ohio 43040. A memorial service will follow at 4:30 p.m. at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the Marysville Free Will Baptist Church.
