June Martin

June E Martin, 77, of Bellefontaine and formerly of Marysville and Lakeview, died Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. A 1957 Graduate of Marysville High School, June formerly worked at RANCO in Delaware from 1972-1986, then worked at Holloway Sportswear in Jackson Center from 1986 until she retired. Of the Catholic faith, she enjoyed crafts, sewing, word search books and puzzles, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Born June 1, 1938 in Sac County, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Martin H. and Emelia E. (Houkap) Reichert. Also preceding her in death were her sons, Timothy and Dannie and a sister, Dorothy Gwilliams. On September 13, 1958 in Richmond, IN. she married her faithful and dedicated husband of over 57 years, Willard C. Martin and he survives in Bellefontaine. Also surviving are her children, David A. Martin of Marysville, Ronnie L. Martin of Jackson Center, Tina M. Matteson of Lakeview and Ricky D. (Juanetta) Martin of Marysville; grandchildren, Ricky, Matthew, Daniel and Dillan Martin, Samantha Boone, Nicole Bonacci and Whitley Goad; 9 great grandchildren; a sister, Lucille (Ralph) Ramsey of Marysville; brothers, Edgar (Bonnie) Reichert of Delaware and Lewis (Nadine) Reichert of McKinney, TX and a brother-in-law, William Gwilliams of Haines City, FL. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Mannasmith Funeral Home with Father David Poliafico officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the service on Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
