Karyn S. Graham, 83, of Zanesfield, a beloved figure in her community and a dedicated hairdresser, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Green Hills in West Liberty, following several months of failing health. Born on March 22, 1942, in Bellefontaine, Karyn was a proud graduate of Zanesfield-Monroe High School, where she completed her studies in 1960.

Karyn devoted 55 years to her career as a hairdresser, also imparting her knowledge and skills as a cosmetology instructor at Ohio Hi Point for many years. Her passion for hairstyling and commitment to her profession touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on those she trained and those who sat in her chair.

She was not only known for her professional achievements but also for her warmth and kindness, which extended into her community involvement. Karyn attended the Zanesfield United Methodist Church, where she served and participated in various activities, fostering a sense of belonging and support among her peers.

An avid horse lover, Karyn had a particular joy for harness racing, a hobby that brought her great happiness throughout her life. Her deep appreciation for these majestic animals mirrored her spirited nature and her approach to life.

Karyn is survived by her loving husband, Richard E. Graham, whom she married July 7, 1962 in Bellefontaine; her daughter, Denyse Bayliss of Russells Point; her son, Rick (Kendra) Graham of South Carolina; grandchildren; Zane (Haley) Bayliss, Tyler (Bree) Graham, Ryan (Andrea) Graham, Dylan (Kendall) Graham, and Theo; nine great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Robert (Shonia) Stevenson of West Mansfield and Don (Linda) Stevenson of East Liberty.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Vera (Inskeep) Stevenson.

In keeping with Karyn's wishes, no calling hours or services will be held at this time. A graveside service at the Zanesfield Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
