Lane M. Allen, 34, of Radnor, born on June 22, 1991, in Marysville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Doctor's Hospital in Columbus. He was a beloved son, father, fiancé, and friend whose warmth and enthusiasm for life touched everyone he encountered.
A proud graduate of North Union High School, Lane dedicated himself to various farmers and restaurants in the area, embodying a work ethic that was respected by all who knew him. His passion for the outdoors was evident in his many hobbies; he was an avid hunter and cherished every opportunity to explore nature. Lane had a special love for horseback riding, which he enjoyed thoroughly alongside family and friends. He always looked forward to getaways at Tar Hollow, where he would trail ride on his beloved horse, Buck, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Lane is survived by his mother and stepfather, Tammy and Bob DeGood of Radnor, and his father, Eric Allen of New Mexico. He also leaves behind his cherished children, Kaleb Virgin, Chansleigh Morse, and Lathan Allen. To his fiancé, Jessica Walcoff, he was a source of unwavering love and support. Lane also shared a special bond with his good buddy and best friend, Zach Cordle.
No calling hours or services will be held at this time. A service to celebrate Lane's life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
