Larry L. Cronkleton Larry L. Cronkleton, age 67, of West Mansfield died Wednesday, November 27, 2013, in the comfort of his own home with his family at his side following a 5 week fight with pancreatic cancer. Larry served as a district manager with Hillandale Farms in Croton and will be remembered as a very hard working and generous man who still enjoyed going to work. He was a 1964 graduate of Buckeye Local High School and was a member of the Central Ohio Tractor Pullers. He enjoyed raising livestock and tractor pulling, a hobby that he shared closely with his brothers. Affectionately known as "Pop", he will be deeply missed by his family. He was born July 9, 1946, in Bellefontaine to Lawrence and Coral Fauver Cronkleton. He was preceded in death by his father, and a grandson-in-law, Ben Modie. Along with his mother, survivors include his 3 sons, J.R. (Becky) Cronkleton, East Liberty; Jonathan (Robin) Cronkleton, Bellefontaine; and Doug (Kelly) Cronkleton, East Liberty; 8 grandchildren, Jonathan Cronkleton, Megan Modie, Joshua (Amanda) Cronkleton, Skyler (Kyle Whitaker) Cronkleton, Sierra Cronkleton, Savana Cronkleton, Matthew Cox, and Nathan (Peggan) Cox; 6 great-grandchildren Ennis Brooks & Evan Benjamin Modie, Alexis Grace Whitaker, Harlan Gunner Cronkleton, Alexus Grace Cox, Matty Cox, Jr., and anticipated the arrival of a great-granddaughter in May; 3 brothers, Joe (Linda) Cronkleton and Jon (Susan) Cronkleton, each of Zanesfield; and Ted (Deborah) Cronkleton, West Mansfield; many nieces, nephews, and friends, and his former wife, Paula Cronkleton, East Liberty. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Mannasmith-Schnurrenberger Funeral Home, West Mansfield, where the funeral will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Bill Bayliss, Larry's very good friend, will conduct the service and burial will take place at North Greenfield Cemetery.
