Linda L. Lockwood, 73, of Raymond, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the OSU/Wexner Medical Center.
Born January 30, 1947 in Bellefontaine, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Emma (Furrow) Short. On August 27, 1967 she married John Lockwood and he preceded her in death on May 16, 2004. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Short.
A loving homemaker, she was dedicated to spending time with and taking care of her family. An avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, she also loved to watch NASCAR and read. She enjoyed camping and the vacation destination, but not much of the traveling that accompanied them. She was also a graduate of Triad High School and formerly attended the Peoria United Methodist Church.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Denise (Mark) Bell of Raymond; a son, Jason (Heather) Kreis; grandchildren, Kristina (Ben) Ferguson, John Bell and Drew and Sam Kreis; great grandchildren, David, Dylan and Lane Ferguson; her brothers, Eugene (Wendy) Short of Sandy, Utah, William (Kay) Short of Cable and Robert (Gladys) Short of Marysville; a sister, Diana (Mark) Whitmer of Plain City and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 11:00 A.M to 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel 621 W. Fifth St. Marysville. Minister Paul Reynolds will officiate graveside services at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the East Liberty Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Villalobos Rescue Center in care of the funeral home.
