Marilyn L. Ridge, 81, of West Mansfield, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019 peacefully in her home surrounded by family.
Marilyn (Mert) was born June 16, 1938 in North Lewisburg to the late Harold and Marjorie Reames. On January 9, 1956, she married Robert E. Ridge and he preceded her in death on December 16, 2014. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Diana L. Coleman and her siblings, Gerald Reames and Beverly Graham.
Surviving are her children, Deborah J. Ridge, Robert B. Ridge and Ronald (Susan) Ridge all of West Mansfield; eight grandchildren, Chandra, Jeremy (Taylor), Ryan, Colin (Taylor), Codee, Dylan, Nick and Madison; seven great grandchildren, Baylee, Emalee, Ayden, Miles, Mason, Kamryn and Ivy; two brothers, Gary (Dianne) Reames and Rick (Connie) Reames and several nephews.
A homemaker for 63 years, Marilyn loved her family more than anything in this world. She enjoyed doing everything she could to help out with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always loved listening to her country music and working on her puzzle books. Everyone that met and knew her, loved her.
Per Marilyn's request, there will be no calling hours held and a Celebration of Life Service will be scheduled for a later date.
