Marilyn S. Shoffner, 70, of Marysville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 24, 2020 at the O.S.U Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.
A loving homemaker for her husband and children, Marilyn enjoyed cooking for family get togethers and holidays. She loved spending time with her family.
Born September 2, 1950 in Bellefontaine, she was the daughter of the late James and Helen (Amerine) Hildreth. She married John E. Shoffner and he preceded her in death on February 1, 2011.
She is survived by her children, Trisha (Paul) Leeder of Port St. Lucie, FL and Scott (Christy) Shoffner of Marysville; grandchildren, Grace, Christian, Lexie, Jennifer and Xavier; great grandchildren, Jayna and Josie and her sister, Pat (Stan) Haas of Delaware.
In keeping with Marilyn's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services held at this time. A memorial gathering for family and friends is being planned for a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. Memorial contributions can be made to the Union County Military Family Support Group or the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
