Mary Dasher

Mary K. Dasher, 89, of Marysville, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Carriage Court of Marysville. Born January 25, 1927 in Marysville, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Elsie (Rausch) Streng. On July 27, 1946 at Trinity Lutheran Church, she married Robert J. Dasher and he preceded her in death on December 15, 1992. A loving mother and homemaker, Mary was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she enjoyed her role on the care committee and was a member of the Dorca Circle. She loved a good game of cards and enjoyed sewing. Surviving are her children, Cheryl (Stephen) Hamilton of Dublin and Larry (Deb) Dasher of Springfield; grandchildren, Randy (Julie) Dasher, Mindy (Andy) Babian, Jennifer (Adam) Pettigrew and Marc Hamilton; great grandchildren, Nate, Rachel, Aaron and John Babian and Ben Pettigrew; a sister, Jo McCracken of Overland Park, KS; a sister-in-law, Jo Vollrath and a brother-in-law, Dale (Mary) Dasher. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Reverend Barry Scott will officiate and burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 A.M.at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Mannasmith Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to Carriage Court Assisted Living Facility or the Michael J.
