Michael E. Morris, 58, of Marysville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 27, 2018 at his residence.
Born September 29, 1960 in Cleveland, he was the son of the late William and Barbara (Placak) Morris. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Roy D. Morris.
A 1978 graduate of Marysville High School, Mike retired from CYT in Cardington as a Quality Control Manager. He enjoyed his electronics, watching motocross and was an avid dirt bike racer in his younger years, but most of all, he loved his time spent with his family and being a "Papa."
He is survived by his wife, Glenna (Ayers) Morris, whom he married July 3, 2004 in Jamaica. He is also survived by a son, Joseph (Sarah) Morris of Lewis Center; grandchildren, Emelia, Emerson and Eleanor; and a sister, Rhonda (Scott) Maxie.
Friends may call Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 2-5 P.M. at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 31, 2018. Pastor Wayne Engle will officiate and burial will follow at Claibourne Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Kennedy's Disease Association.
