Nettie Joan Finch

Nettie Joan Finch, 89, of Marysville, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at Monarch Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

A loving wife, mother and homemaker, she was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Columbus. A faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Marysville, she loved rubber stamping, baking, and visiting with people in nursing homes to brighten their day.

Born October 21, 1933 in Columbus, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Goldie (Palmer) Cutlip. On January 2, 1953 in Columbus, she married her husband of over 44 years, Rabon Finch, and he preceded her in death on July 3, 1997.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (David) Volpe of Hilliard and her beloved Amazon parrot, Kirby.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. Reverend Larry McDonald will officiate and burial will follow next to her husband at the Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
