Patricia A. Trout

Patricia A. Trout, 78, of Marysville, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Memorial Hospital of Union County following many months of failing health.

A 1962 graduate of Wilmington High School, she worked in the paint department with Honda of America for over 20 years, retiring in 2004. Having a kind heart and a welcoming nature, she will be remembered as a wonderful friend to many. She loved collecting Longaberger Baskets, listening to music, dancing and fishing.

Born May 17, 1944 in Clinton County, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Ruth (Thompson) Stanforth. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Riedmiller and her brothers, James and Richard Stanforth.

In 2004, she married Richard Trout and he survives in Marysville. She is also survived by a stepson, Dave (Rhonda) Erwin of Marysville; a brother, Roger (Pam) Stanforth of Lake Havasu City, AZ and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00-2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. Burial with graveside services will take place at a later date in the New Vienna IOOF Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions made to the Union County Military Family Support Group or the Union County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
