Paul Timothy “Tim” Butler, 103, of Marysville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at his residence.
A loving husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa and loving friend of many, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. As a young man he started farming with horses, eventually progressing to John Deere tractors to complete his chores. He also worked at the Raymond Grain Elevator and later retired from the Watkins Stone Quarry after 20 years. He loved spending time outside in the sun, and mowing the lawn on his John Deere. He also had a love for animals and having a good laugh with people. Tim will be remembered for the many treasured stories he would share with anyone that would listen.
Born May 30, 1922 in Milford Center, he was the son of the late John and Esther Butler. On June 8, 1969 in Raymond, he married the love of his life and wife of over 43 years, Eleanor M. (Heizer) Butler. She preceded him in death on August 16, 2012. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Aaron Butler; a sister, Sarah Zimmerman and a son-in-law, Garland Walls.
Tim is survived by his daughters, Brenda Walls of Chillicothe and Sharon (Allan) Anderson of Johnson City, TN; a son, Lee (Molly) Hundley of Marysville; grandchildren, Alisha Ford of Chillicothe, Shawn (Angela) Walls of West Chester, Rena (Aaron) Maus of Moscow, OH, Amy (A-Jay) Orr of Marysville and Brett Hundley of Columbus; 16 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
The family would like to offer a very special “Thank You” for the care given to Tim by Dr. Kevin Henzel and his hospice nurses, Bev, Carrie and Megan.
