Pricillia S. Ogan, 70, of Richwood, died early Saturday March 16, 2019 at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus after a short illness.
A 1966 graduate of Marysville High School, she worked in the Union County Title Department for over 25 years. A faithful member of the Millcreek Church of Christ. She was also a member of C.A.S.C. in Marysville, the Senior Center in Bellefontaine and the Moose #427 in Kenton. She enjoyed tending to her flowers, watching the hummingbirds, putting puzzles together, traveling and especially spending time with her grandchildren. They could often be found fishing in the pond behind the house. To say that she was an avid card player would be putting it mildly, she loved her card games, her favorite being euchre.
Born May 13, 1948 in Marysville, she was the daughter of the late Jesse L. and Lucille (Byerly) Boysel. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Rosetta Nichols and Vanessa Boysel; a brother, Sonny Boysel and a brother-in-law, David Ogan.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 53 years, John Ogan, Sr. whom she married August 17, 1966 in Lansing, MI. Also surviving are her sons, John (Melissa) Ogan, Jr. of Marion and Brian (Karen) Ogan of Raymond; grandchildren, Kayla, Casey, Garrett and Lauren Ogan; a great granddaughter, Charlotte McAvoy; a sister, Julia Ogan of York Center and a brother, Jesse (Edith) Boysel of Marysville.
Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel 621 W. Fifth St, Marysville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Millcreek Church of Christ 24956 Lunda Rd. Raymond, OH. Jack Knox will officiate and burial will follow at York Cemetery in York Center.
