Robin R. Goff, 63, passed away just one day shy of her birthday on Monday, October 11, 2021 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
A devoted wife, loving mother, sister, aunt, sister-in-law and dear friend, Robin enjoyed sewing, quilting and cooking. She loved spending time gardening, whether it was in her flower gardens or the vegetable garden. She enjoyed watching the birds in the birdhouses and bird feeders around her yard. An avid collector of miniature horse statues, she began collecting as a child and her affinity for horses is evident now with the grapevine horse statue in the front yard. Having a knack for gift giving, she always had the perfect gift for family on any occasion. Above all, Robin cherished her time spent with her family the most, especially family gatherings.
A 1976 graduate of Benjamin Logan High School, she was a medical transcriptionist with Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine for over 44 years.
Born October 12, 1957 in Kenton, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Marilyn (Bailey) Clingerman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Dayna Clingerman and Daria Roberts and a dear friend, Peggy Patrick.
50 years ago, she would have a date with a young boy, who would later become her husband of nearly 40 years. On November 27, 1981 in East Liberty, she married Roger Goff and he survives in West Mansfield. She is also survived by her daughter, Ciara (Ryan Harman) Goff of Hilliard; a sister, Rory (Mike Horvath) LeVan of West Mansfield; brothers-in-law, Dale (Linda) Goff, Thomas (Karen) Goff, Bradley Goff; sisters-in-law, Beverly Goff and Betty Lou (Tim) VanBuskirk; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank Robin’s nurses and caregivers from Universal Home Health Care for the compassionate, loving care they provided.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 18, 2021 at the East Liberty Cemetery with Pastor Bryan Meadows officiating. Friends may call from 3-5 P.M.
