Shirley Ann Stidam Shirley Ann Stidam, age 74, of Milford Center died Sunday, January 8, 2012, at The James Cancer Hospital with her family at her side. A loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother, she was employed for 34 years with Ranco. She enjoyed garage sales, watching soap operas, flower gardening, and reading all types of books. More than anything, she treasured the comfort of her own home and the love of her family. She will be missed beyond measure. She was born November 22, 1937, in Milford Center, to the late Russell and Pearl Erwin Garey. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Ann Robinson, a brother, Russell Garey, a niece, Vicki Geer, a nephew, Gary Stidam, and a sister-in-law, Shirley Garey. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, John Stidam, to whom she was married on May 24, 1954, in Kentucky; her children, Sue (Mark) Lippencott, Milford Center; and Barb (Chuck) Adams, John (Judy) Stidam, and Jim "The Favorite" (Amanda) Stidam, each of Marysville; 6 grandchildren, Mitch Lippencott, Courtney Lippencott and her fiancé©, Ryan Butler, Anita (Troy) Riley, Loren Stidam, Kyle Stidam, and Bailey Stilling; 3 great-grandchildren, Trystan and Ryley Edwards, and Cohen Riley; a brother, Dave (Jane) Garey, Plain City; 2 sisters-in-law, Linda Fornlacher, Alabama; and Shirley Garey, Maryland; a brother-in-law, Jasper (Pat) Stidam, Omaha, NE; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at Mannasmith Funeral Home, Marysville, where the funeral will take place on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Pam Connolly will officiate and burial will take place at Union Township Cemetery, Milford Center. Pallbearers will be Mark Lippencott, Chuck Adams, Kyle Stidam, Mitch Lippencott, Troy Riley, and Ryan Butler, Memorial contributions may be made to the Milford Center Food Pantry or the Union County Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
