Timothy George Riebel, 59, of Marysville, passed away early on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Memorial Hospital of Union County.
A graduate of Marysville High School, he formerly worked at Community Market, Wendy’s, Creative Foundations, Day Lay Egg Farm and for the last 20 years with UCCO Industries. An avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Dukes of Hazzard and Michael Jackson, Tim was fun-loving, rarely met a stranger and always took pride in his work. He loved attending Recreation Unlimited, riding his 3-wheel bike, swimming, bowling, coloring, latch hook, riding go-carts and lawnmowers, CB radio, walkie-talkies and eating Big Macs. He enjoyed traveling with the Elwood Ave. group home and his trip to Disney with Jay. He also liked to dance and participated in the Special Olympics and Miracle League Baseball. While growing up he attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Prospect and most recently the First English Lutheran Church and the Freewill Baptist Church.
Born February 13, 1964 in Marysville, he was the son of the late Robert and Louise (Trapp) Mueck. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Jacque Mueck.
Tim is survived by his sisters, Joyce McKitrick of Marysville and Judy Lynn Mueck of Washington; brothers, Jay (Valerie) Mueck of St. Augustine, FL and Jeff (Sylvia) Mueck of Mansfield; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. Pastor Ray Wolfe will officiate and burial will follow at the Prospect Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday beginning at 11:00 A.M. Memorial contributions can be made to CRSI-Elwood Group Home P.O.
