Tommy Wyatt, 62, of Marysville, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at his residence. Tommy served his country from 1972-1976 with the United States Marine Corp in Vietnam. He retired from Goodyear where he worked in production for nearly 28 years. A member of the VFW Post 3320, he enjoyed collecting old cars and trucks and fishing, but his greatest joy came from riding his Harley-Davidson. Born April 19, 1954 in Pikeville, KY, he was the son of the late Wade and Lucy (Brown) Wyatt, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dennis and Lewis Wyatt and a sister, Betty Fish. Surviving are his longtime companion, Becky Schertzer of Marysville; a son, Thomas Wyatt of North Lewisburg; grandson on the way, Wade Wyatt; brothers and sisters, Mae Maynard of Anthony, FL, Mildred Dombrosky of Sheffield Heights, OH, Joyce Tucker of Chiefland, FL, Jim Wyatt of Woodstock, OH, Wade Wyatt, Jr of North Lewisburg, Alice Bradley of Bulls Gap, TN and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. Military Rites will be conducted at 12:00 P.M. by the Union County Honor Guard. A luncheon will follow at the VFW Post 3320. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
