Treasure Neer

Treasure Marie Neer Treasure Marie Neer, age 47, of Marysville died Saturday, May 11, 2013, at her home with her husband at her side following a long journey with cancer. She was an associate with Honda for the past 25 years and formerly worked at the Bellefontaine Pizza Hut. She was a faithful member of the Marysville Vineyard Church and was a 1983 graduate of St. Paris Graham High School. Treasure cared deeply for her husband and family and friends and especially enjoyed the companionship of her cats, Xavier, Little Man, and Shiloh. She was born November 17, 1965, in Santa Monica, California, to the late Sherman and Evelyn Zerkle. Survivors include her husband of nearly one year, Steven E. Neer, to whom she was married on May 31, 2012, at the Marysville Vineyard Church, by Rev. Steve Wood; her husband's children, Whitney and Olvia Neer, each of Urbana; a sister, Tracy, of Florida; a brother, Scott (Phyllis) Zerkle, Ballground, GA; a brother-in-law, Tim (Jill) Neer, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the Marysville Vineyard Church where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Steve Wood will officiate and burial will take place at Oakdale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Marysville Vineyard Church or Loving Care Hospice.
