Carolyn Bright

Carolyn J. Bright, 64, of Marysville, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.

A loving mother, grandmother, sister and companion, Carol loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She always looked forward to the holiday season, gathering her family together and cooking for them. An avid Bingo player, she formerly worked in production at Marcy Industries.

Born January 18, 1957 in Marysville, she was the daughter of the late John and Norma (Organ) Bright. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carrie Sue Diehl and a sister, Sandy Bright.

She is survived by her twin daughters, Shelly (Eric) Fuson of Broadway and Kelly Bright of Marysville; sons, Alex (Laura) Bennett of Marysville and Larry Diehl of Magnetic Springs; grandchildren, Skylor, Hunter, Brenna, Paisley, Paxton, Ty, Jalyne, Leeanna, Courtney, Isaiah and Bella; great grandchildren, Presley, Porter and Ayla; sisters, Wanda Bright of Marysville and Loretta Moss of Richwood; brothers, Mike Bright of Pharisburg and Mark Bright of Magnetic Springs; her longtime companion, Kenny Slone and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday. Burial will follow at the Hopewell Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the United Way of Union County, COVID-19 Response Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
