Stephen Bahan

March 5, 1952 — January 5, 2021

Stephen Douglas Bahan, 68, of West Mansfield, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus following several years of failing health.

Born March 5, 1952 in Urbana, he was the son of the late Robert and Kathrine (Delaney) Bahan. On January 29, 1982 in Cable, he married his wife of over 33 years, Wanda Sue (Lloyd) Bahan and she preceded him in death on October 3, 2015. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his step-father, Phillip Johnson and a brother, Larry Bahan.

A graduate of Triad High School, Steve worked at Honda of America for nearly 25 years, retiring in 2009. He also farmed throughout most of his life. He always enjoyed farming, but getting to farm with Gary and Travis truly made it a pleasure. He enjoyed playing golf in his younger years and he and Wanda spent many winters in Myrtle Beach. He was a member of the Indian Lake Moose Lodge 1533 and recently, never missed his nightly routine of watching Matlock. Most of all, Steve cherished his time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter, Stacie (Jeff) Black of West Mansfield; sons, Mike (Bernadette) Coleman of Sidney and Mark (Diane) Coleman of Russells Point; grandchildren, Adam and Matthew Black, Kylinn and Mason Coleman, Kasi, Shane and Taylor Quay, Dylan Coleman, Morganne Auger, Logan Coleman, Samantha Ward and Heidi Priggs; great grandchildren, Maddox, Harper, Wally, Krew, Layla, Penelope, Henry, Savannah and Samuel, and his brothers, Gary (Barb) Bahan of Byhalia and Ron (Sandy) Bahan of North Lewisburg.
